and your body is a field.

and forgive your way to injure, no longer fear:

sea calms your paddle and you

conquer this fort
your pirate hook,

turn a fire,
be joyful champion,
think you have-finally-
recreates the passion that my cravings

flies from your eyes .

dream of a horizon
without fog, deer,

guitars-no knives,
with verses of Anacreon;
without shots in the bush,

with words, laughter,
with Apollo and Artemis,

nonhazardous and shops naked
me on this sea for mass.

gallops
thought-steed
invents my sundown-

when senses embrace
runs sweet and happy.
rode the wind and the flange
runs wild.
Low clouds
invokes light: my spur shines as
lips and leads
a colt on your mouth.

One of the most controversial steps the life of The Cucalambé , is addressed in the book In Sant iago and other sources ( Sanlope Editorial) of Carlos Tamayo, one of the researchers who has approached this famous and Cuban writer.

Through articles, interviews and essays, the author recreates the final years of Juan Cristobal Napoles Fajardo , the largest Cuban bucolic poet of the nineteenth century, who disappeared mysteriously in Santiago de Cuba 1861 to the age of 32 years.

Tamayo told AIN (National News Agency) that "there are multiple versions and speculation about the possible causes of this fact, but none is conclusive "and that mystery accompanies the work of this character giving rise to a of the most significant myths in the history of the island

Napoles Fajardo is one of the most important representatives of the literary movement cone acid as Siboney, which emerged in the first half of the nineteenth century and became the tenth and the extinct aboriginal culture symbols of nascent sense of Cuban identity.

From simple character and very slow to speak, as if every word he said had symbolize a deep burden for ism. How Big Should My Aikido Gi Be?

of surrealism to the tenth exquisite

Foreword to the book of that title
( Edito Rial Sanlope , 2010),
his anthologist, poet and professor of oral literature

Algiers Fernández Granado

Somewhere

time of the third decade of the twentieth century, followers of Surrealism (1), imbued s in an effort to explore the mysterious possibilities subconscious beyond reason, created this extraordinary entertainment known as Exquisite Corpse, write a poem consisting of all participants in their gatherings, with the peculiarity that none of them could see what was written by the poet who preceded him or . In this way formed randomly, verse by verse, poetic compositions, despite the difference in the apparent chaos voices and surreal, brought with them the expressive power of s us authors.

They played with an exquisite corpse, at least two decades but continued to catch other game to date. Undoubtedly, this intellectual exercise is attractive and, apparently, the "corpse" will never be buried in oblivion. In September 2000, Pilon, a town in the province of Granma , say my verse, along with other participants in the gathering of poets, the south is the poetry (2), a collective poem followed the rules Surrealist game and to my surprise, was a large, sturdy, shiny and metafóric or song to poiesis.

Later that month, still impressed with the outcome of that game, I proposed to my colleagues d and the Latin American House the Tenth The Cucalambé , then lay in Provincial Directorate of Culture in Las Tunas, take our coffee with Verso ( 3) something similar. So we did, we went through the public a sheet folded like an accordion into ten parts for the same number of presents each write a verse in honor of Jesus Orta Ruiz . They did it willingly and the result was a free verse and rhyme metric far away from the traditional spinel.

In October of that year, asked the poets write, goodbye as the theme, collective tenth, in the final analysis, the spinel should star in our activities . From that moment, become unavoidable section of our nights of coffee and verse, the old "corpse" of surrealism was renamed the tenth exquisite and assimilated in their new form by the regulars to our patio. However, his "father" not only remains to be written by many, though the formal requirements of a verse spinel rigid as other challenges have been imposed; undeniably inherited delicacy of language, clarity of poetic images, and that mixture of inspiration and craft that is true poetry.

Those who know the writing of the tenth, from the traditional to the avant-garde (especially the latter, with its quasi deconstructions of versolibrismo, their enjambments and sometimes angry, profanity against the tradition), they know that is a very complex stanza, which resemble the short story, you must meet certain rules, such as synthesis, cohesion and consistency that make it functional and effective its goal of giving light feelings, ideas and facts, they know that not in vain the poet Fuentes Adolfo Martí called clean air prison, they know that it takes concentration and knowledge and of course, know how difficult it is to channel the ideas of ten different brains, finding the right words, string together ten verses octosyllabic they go, as a single arrow to hit the bull's-eye.

Over the years I have led, led and nurtured the tenth in the Café with exquisite verse and from that privileged position gives me the experience, make sure that it is at least surprising that they have been written tenths of superb craftsmanship, solid compositions, perfect in form and semantics, some even "round" as I would have said Gilberto E. Rodriguez, have known them, which can be read again in the tenth verse, the first without losing its meaning, or the logical sense of his message, "reversible" I would say. And I say this bearing in mind that the verses that make up these tenths were not written exclusively by renowned poets, readers will find in this compilation with writers like Pablo Armando Fernandez, Carlos E squivel War Pedro Péglez, Cesar Lopez, Waldo González, Antonio Borrego, Antonio Gutiérrez, Alberto Garrido, David Mitrani, Juan Carlos García Guridi, Carlos Tellez, Ana Rosa Diaz, Odalys Leyva, Lesbia of Faith , Frank Castle, Jorge Luis Pena Ronel González, Alejandro Aguilar, Reinaldo Garcia Blanco, Lucy Maestre, Ramiro Duarte, Maria Liliana Celorrio, Diu smel Machado, Frank Upierre, Sergio Morales, Rafael Vilches, Adalberto H Echavarria, Daniel Laguna, Modesto Caballero , Ana Pérez Batista, Reyna Esperanza Cruz, Jesus David Curbelo, José Manuel Espino, Juan Manuel Herrera, Carlos Zamora, Ireli Pérez, Alexander Besu and many more, prominent repentist as well as Gabriel Llanes Estrada, Nelson Lima Chaviano, Emiliano Sardiñas Copello, Luis Martín, Raúl Herrera, Argelio Torres García and José Manuel Silverio, along with other less familiar names, and what is more remarkable still, with people from the most diverse professions: managers, clerks, journalists, workers, peasants, artists from other demonstrations and to foreign visitors as the Mexican Nicholas Flores García and Chile's Nelson Alvarez, El Canela. Of course the Coffee Verso has staunchest supporters who have given their invaluable contribution to the tenth exquisite and can not fail to mention when speaking of this event, they are women poets and Yuslenis Ondina Gamboa Molina and poet Edilberto Rivera.

tenths I have selected these quality criteria scriptural and thematic diversity, with the intention to offer you, reader, a fun product that shows the expressive possibilities of our stanza of ten lines and surprise you with originality.

In Las Tunas, land of the Cucalambé, the tenth spinel is common, so common that sometimes we let our hand carelessly. This noble verse has survived the ravages of time adjusting to new trends and has withstood the attacks of his detractors that the consid were a minor genre of English literature, however, as the authentic voice of the people, she always has something new to give. Our exquisite tenth is not a corpse, his good health talk these verses, and if you have not written your first octosyllable, listen to Renael González Batista saying:

De your tenth get ready
to make a gun sound
aggressor and the general
with ten bullets Oppose.
Although there who does not lift height
their lutes and archaic
coffins

wanted it buried,
with her popular voice,
prefer crowds. (4)
